I. Preparations
1. Essential Tools
- Core Device: KW100 Bluetooth Smart Key Programmer (ensure sufficient power; can be powered via Type-C interface connected to a mobile phone or charger)
- Key Carrier: LT20 Series Smart Key PCB Board corresponding to the vehicle model (no need to distinguish specific models; KW100 automatically adapts)
- Auxiliary Tools: Mobile phone (with LONSDOR official APP installed, supporting iOS/Android; downloadable by scanning the QR code in the device manual), vehicle OBD connection cable
- Others: LT20 key shell (for assembly after programming)
2. Environment & Vehicle Requirements
- Operating Environment: Keep away from other smart keys (no interfering devices within 2 meters) to avoid wireless signal interference
- Vehicle Status: Stable battery voltage (recommended 12V normal voltage), vehicle parked in a safe area, all electrical devices turned off
- Pre-check: Confirm KW100 firmware and mobile APP are up-to-date (automatic update detection available in the APP)
III. Key Verification & Assembly
-
Function Test
- Startup Verification: Bring the programmed LT20 key board close to the vehicle ignition switch, turn on the ignition switch; the normal lighting of the instrument panel indicates effective startup function
- Remote Control Test: Test functions such as locking, unlocking and trunk opening to confirm consistency with custom configurations
- Additional Verification for All Keys Lost Scenario: Try to start the vehicle to confirm the engine runs normally without anti-theft alarm prompts
-
Completion of Assembly
- Install the verified LT20 key board into the corresponding shell, press to fix it in place, and it can be used as a normal smart key
- To clear the information of the original old keys (for all keys lost scenario), select 「Key Management」 → 「Clear Extra Keys」 in the APP and complete the operation according to the prompts (vehicle needs to be in power-on state)
IV. Notes & Troubleshooting
1. Key Notes
- Do not disconnect the Bluetooth connection or OBD line during programming, otherwise data writing will fail
- The LT20 key board does not need to pre-distinguish frequency and chip type; KW100 can automatically adapt and convert
- The generated key supports all original vehicle smart functions (including keyless entry and one-key start), consistent with the original factory key
2. Common Troubleshooting
- Bluetooth Pairing Failure: Turn off and restart mobile phone Bluetooth or reboot the KW100 device; ensure the distance between the two is no more than 1 meter
- Data Reading Failure: Check if the OBD connection cable is firmly inserted and the vehicle battery voltage is normal; try again after troubleshooting
- Failure to Start After Key Generation: Confirm the correct vehicle model selection and matching between the LT20 model and the vehicle; use the 「Rewrite」 function in the APP to program again
- Inconsistent Button Functions: Re-enter the 「Button Configuration」 interface in the APP to adjust without re-generating the key
Summary
With the core advantages of "no need to check version, no need to test frequency, one-key operation", the KW100, combined with the LT20 series key carrier, can efficiently solve the problems of key addition or all keys lost for Toyota/Lexus/Subaru models. The entire process requires no professional technical background; locksmiths or maintenance personnel can complete all operations within 5-10 minutes, greatly improving key matching efficiency. For more details on the adaptation of specific models, refer to the 「Vehicle Model Database」 in the APP or contact LONSDOR official technical support.
