Understanding the 5C Technology
"5C" is an innovative concept defined by KYDZ, representing the collective name for Volkswagen's latest IMMO key types including 48chip, 49chip, 4A chip and additional variants.
Compatible Vehicle Models
The 5C chip system supports nearly all Volkswagen models manufactured after October 2019, including T-Cross, Sagitar, Jetta, and various hybrid models.
Required Equipment for 5C Key Generation
Currently, only the KYDZ White Cube device can generate 5C chips, working in conjunction with the 5C OBD Helper cable. Owners of previous KYDZ key makers should await future updates for compatibility.
5C Key Generation Process
Retrieve vehicle data online using the 5C OBD cable and obtain service codes
Generate dealer key using the retrieved data
Program the dealer key using DSP3 device (currently not compatible with other key programmers)
